Jesse Benjamin is Mi’kmaq, a Certified Personal Trainer, and a small animal Veterinarian. She currently works for the Provincial SPCA as a shelter animal Veterinarian.
Her love for sports started in elementary school and carried on throughout her entire schooling, even into University where she competed on the track-and-field and the cross country teams. However, as she started her career and family, she stopped exercising for about 7 years. It was during this time she lost part of herself. It took a major life change to realize she was no longer prioritizing herself, or her health. After her fourth child, she decided to start working out again.
It was after being told by a friend how she had inspired her to start making healthy life choices, that she considered becoming a personal trainer. She obtained her certification in October 2017 and now helps busy people incorporate fitness and good nutrition into their lives through online training so they can feel strong, be healthy and live well.
She currently resides in Halifax, NS, with her 4 children, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Having recently reached his 60th year, Greg has a passion for inspiring others to reach their own fitness goals. Interested in all aspects of physical culture, he particularly enjoys training bodyweight skills, weightlifting and kettlebells.
It hadn’t always been that way. Faced with a number of chronic health issues growing up, Carver didn’t discover the power of healthy living until later in life.
Frustrated with being “sick and tired” all the time, Greg decided to take responsibility for his own health. He’s used his system to overcome his chronic health problems in the past, and now helps others transform their own lives, regardless of age or physical condition.

Marc Lebert is the inventor of the Lebert EQualizer®, the Lebert Buddy System™ and the Lebert Stretch Strap™, used by Personal Trainers, fitness clubs, gyms, schools and sports centres all over the world. Few people have the “aha” or “lightbulb” moment in life, and I’ve been very lucky to experience it. After graduating from Queen’s University with an honours degree in Life Sciences in hand, and 50 extra pounds in the belly, I thought I was destined for a career in medicine, albeit not completely sure in what capacity. I took a job with a pharmaceutical company and became quickly jaded with their “sell more, people are sick” mentality.
Following my time with pharmaceuticals and a lengthy and varied career in the boating industry, some soul-searching led me back into healthcare and to ultimately discover naturopathic medicine.
After 4 years studying at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), I graduated with the honour of representing my class as valedictorian. I am licensed to work in Ontario and have a family practice in Waterdown. I have written a naturopathic textbook with 3 remarkable colleagues, and continue to work at CCNM as an instructor and teaching assistant.

Bruno spent 15 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, serving two tours in Afghanistan. He spent his second tour as a part of an anti-explosives team in Afghanistan; a busy outfit that dealt with more than 100 IEDs (improvised explosive devices). Justin Ashar (J. Ashar) is a Canadian-born record executive based in Houston, Texas. Dan is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Dolce Diet Nutrition Coach. His passion for fitness began at a young age when he began training in Olympic-style taekwondo and wanted to find ways to improve his strength and conditioning with minimal equipment. Having competed in multiple tournaments, including earning a bronze medal in the provincial qualifiers and a gold medal in the Niagara Open, Dan has been passionate about both competition and fitness for more than a decade now.

I was born and raised in the Republic of Georgia. It is there that I started my amateur boxing career. At the age of twenty, I moved to Cullera, Spain where I started boxing professionally. By the time I immigrated to Canada in 2009, I had over 100 amateur fights, 10 semi-pro fights and 5 pro fights. While living in Vancouver, B.C., I trained and coached at Sugarrays Boxing Gym, a well-known local boxing hub.
In 2013, my wife and I started Red Shadow Boxing and Fitness, now known as RSB Lifestyle Fitness. We both believe that there are no limits except the ones an individual acknowledges. This philosophy was an extension of the mental and physical discipline I was taught being part of a former USSR boxing club. Having our own studio gave me the opportunity to play and discover calisthenics- a training style I have become obsessed with. Because of its unlimited options, bodyweight training ignites a creativity and drive in me that I hadn’t known before.
I’m now a dad of two wonderful daughters, Vivianna and Valencia, and I have a wife who is my best friend and partner in everything I do. I have committed and dedicated my whole life to be an example for my three precious women. As a coach and a role model, I feel responsible to break through any obstacle that appears in front of me. My passion is to inspire, serve and share with the world how each of us can succeed in every area of our lives by building one of the most important skills-commitment.

Hi Friends! My name is Ellyn, I am a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and just recently completed my Master’s in Public Health. Movement and exercise have always been a part of my life from gymnastics when I was younger to currently being a fitness instructor at Life Time here in Des Moines, Iowa. Teaching group fitness classes is my absolute passion in life - it sets my soul on FIRE. I love encouraging my class members to challenge their own strength - both muscular and mental - beyond what they thought they were capable of.
I am also passionate about health education at the population level - helping the masses learn how to prevent disease from the start through daily movement, physical activity, and proper nutrition. To me, fitness isn’t about being inside the 4 walls of a gym. It’s about taking what you learn and applying it to your life outside the gym. A few fun facts about me:
My name is Tyler Fields. I am a Calisthenics athlete and a firm believer that anyone can achieve anything if they put their mind to it. I started weight training 7 years with a goal to simply “get big”. However after putting on a lot of size I found myself wanting more of a challenge. I had always been interested in calisthenics after watching legends such as Simon Ata and Daniel Vadnal perform gravity defying movements. I had always told myself that this was impossible and stuck to what I knew. One day my brother invited me out for a calisthenics session and taught me some of the basic movements. While I thought I was strong and while I did voice it, I admititally thought myself above the basics. However I was quickly humbled and was shown the how real the journey to achieving those gravity defying skills could be. Since that day 4 years ago, I have been hooked and continue to push myself to new heights.
My biggest driving force as I mentioned earlier is that I want to show the world that anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it. I truly was a “average joe” watching from the sidelines until someone showed me that I am more than that. This is what I believe, we are all more than we give ourselves credit for, and only by working together can we help one another ascend to be our best possible selves.

Holly Giuliano is a married mom of 2 girls. She 'retired' from her career as an ICU nurse and started working in the fitness industry after her kids were born. She currently teaches PiYo Live classes all over Orange County and can be seen in the PiYo Home workout videos with Chalene Johnson. She also is part of the cast for the PiYo workouts for instructors. When she is NOT teaching or filming PiYo, she loves to workout in her home gym with her Lebert Fitness pink equalizer bars!

I consider myself a "movement enthusiast". I love all forms of movement and incorporate as many as I can into my day to day life. I believe that a good movement practice should be challenging but playful and fuel the urge to explore what your body is capable of. Growing up in martial arts and competitive dance, I learned to appreciate the gift that is our body. If we challenge our body, it will adapt and grow strong. If we neglect our body, it will diminish and become stiff and weak.
I entered into the fitness world at a young age through group fitness and bodybuilding. After years of traditional training, I discovered a passion for crossfit and all the diverse components it had to offer. I love to move heavy weight around just as much as I love to find new ways to move my body around. I believe both have a place in a well rounded training regimen.
In recent years I have enjoyed exploring more unconventional training tools and modalities. I fell in love with the Steel Mace and Calisthenics. Using offset loads and more divers planes of movement has really brought my training to another level in addition to making things much more interesting.
I hope to encourage people to explore and experiment with their fitness. Listen to what your body is telling you. It craves movement of all sorts. Don’t be afraid to fail. Don’t be afraid to play.

After a lifetime of athletics (gymnastics, cheerleading, tennis, IM sports, etc), Jenny began her fitness career at Korea Tae Kwon Do Academy in 2008. As a participant in the Cardio Kickboxing program she was asked to train as an instructor. Upon completing her training under Master Garth Cooley, she began to teach classes there and soon was also hired at the Y. This led to her certification in Group Exercise through YUSA.
Over the next several years she expanded her classes to include Strength & Endurance, Cardio Fit, Boot Camp, Treadmill Training, and Stretch Class, to name just a few!
After lifeguarding for a couple of summers through the Y, she discovered aquatic fitness and obtained her Water Fitness certification in 2012. This led to teaching Deep Water, Shallow Water, Aqua Cardio, Aqua Boot Camp, and Aqua Kickboxing classes. She joined the Monon Community Center in 2014, increasing the number and type of water fitness classes she was teaching weekly.
Jenny also received her Certification for Personal Training through the American College of Sports Medicine in 2014. She is passionate about fitness and loves coaching clients through their fitness journeys!
Jenny found Lebert Fitness through an ACSM annual conference. The Equalizers were the perfect piece of equipment to add to her “gym” due to their versatility and easily-transported size. She frequently trains her clients at their homes or parks and there’s nothing better than a couple EQ’s to give her clients that full-body workout!

Hi! My name is Jeanette Roskom and I live near Green Bay, WI in a quaint little town called Wrightstown with my husband, six year old son and four year old daughter. My passion for inspiring others to live a healthy and active lifestyle lead to the launch of our coaching business JRoskom BEACTIVE in 2017 (www.jroskom.com). Calisthenics Canada aims to be the governing body and Federation for the sport of street workout and calisthenics in Canada. The goal of this is to create a comprehensive framework for how calisthenics gets adapted as a sport by developing all areas of it. Everything from rules, competitions, ratings, athletes, regulations, resources and much more are part of the plan for this project that keeps evolving every year. As we see the growing popularity of calisthenics not only as a sport but also as a fitness alternatives, we have noticed a gap in the way in which people discover, interact and develop within the calisthenics community. Josef Serfaty, CFP-PTS, CFP-HWL, CCF-CMCP, is an In-Home Personal Fitness Coach, Mindset Coach and Motivational Speaker.
He is also a Lebert Fitness Instructor and Ambassador and a Senior Tactical Fitness Instructor. Josef worked under the mentorship of Marc Lebert early on in his fitness career as a LeBOOT and LeHIIT Instructor. His journey as a fitness professional started with a flame of inspiration to be the best version of himself after an eye-opening boot camp and lecture on resilience at a conference in 2013. He believes everyone deserves to experience that same empowering flame when seeking to live everyday with joy, curiosity, and passion.
Pam Sherman is a wellness specialist. She is the CEO and founder of The Perfect Balance Academy, international motivational speaker, coach and author. She was involved in fitness/wellness as a coach and trainer for 20+ years. Now, she’s a 7X author, motivational speaker and coach.

I'm a mom of 3 small kiddos with a passion for everything fitness and nutrition. I've been a certified Personal Trainer/ Nutritionist for 13 yrs and I love every minute of it. As a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, over the past 3 years I have been coaching people online and creating YouTube videos inspiring others to reach their fitness and lifestyle goals through healthy, wholesome plant-based food and a natural approach to fitness and movement.
When I first became a nutritionist, I was a lean runner. I believed strongly in the vegan diet and knew I wanted to promote it the best way I could but I was consistently met with the argument “sure that diet might work for you, but I want to put on some muscle”…
I quickly realized this was going to be a big roadblock for me. Many people like the aesthetics of a muscular physique, so I knew I had to put on some muscle and to do that I had to workout and EAT!
