Jesse Benjamin is Mi’kmaq, a Certified Personal Trainer, and a small animal Veterinarian. She currently works for the Provincial SPCA as a shelter animal Veterinarian.
Her love for sports started in elementary school and carried on throughout her entire schooling, even into University where she competed on the track-and-field and the cross country teams. However, as she started her career and family, she stopped exercising for about 7 years. It was during this time she lost part of herself. It took a major life change to realize she was no longer prioritizing herself, or her health. After her fourth child, she decided to start working out again.
It was after being told by a friend how she had inspired her to start making healthy life choices, that she considered becoming a personal trainer. She obtained her certification in October 2017 and now helps busy people incorporate fitness and good nutrition into their lives through online training so they can feel strong, be healthy and live well.
She currently resides in Halifax, NS, with her 4 children, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Having recently reached his 60th year, Greg has a passion for inspiring others to reach their own fitness goals. Interested in all aspects of physical culture, he particularly enjoys training bodyweight skills, weightlifting and kettlebells.
It hadn’t always been that way. Faced with a number of chronic health issues growing up, Carver didn’t discover the power of healthy living until later in life.
Frustrated with being “sick and tired” all the time, Greg decided to take responsibility for his own health. He’s used his system to overcome his chronic health problems in the past, and now helps others transform their own lives, regardless of age or physical condition.
Greg credits his own success to the motivation he gets from others, be they mentor, coach or client. “I’m driven by other peoples’ enthusiasm, and love showing people how to look and feel their best”, he says.

Marc Lebert is the inventor of the Lebert EQualizer®, the Lebert Buddy System™ and the Lebert Stretch Strap™, used by Personal Trainers, fitness clubs, gyms, schools and sports centres all over the world. Marc has excelled at sports all his life but his passion for weight training began at college where he first stepped foot in the weight room. He has been working out religiously ever since!
Along the way, Marc also became very enthused about Taekwondo, earning his Black Belt, fighting competitively on a National Level and instructing. As the Strength and Conditioning coach for Billy “The Kid” Irwin, Marc also began learning the “sweet science” and boxing is a real passion for him teaching high energy, dynamic classes every week.
Marc is a Certified Personal Trainer and proprietor of Fitness NATION in Mississauga & Oakville. Marc has his BA in Psychology and is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner. Marc is a published writer and international presenter, running educational courses and motivational seminars around the world and makes regular TV appearances.
Few people have the “aha” or “lightbulb” moment in life, and I’ve been very lucky to experience it. After graduating from Queen’s University with an honours degree in Life Sciences in hand, and 50 extra pounds in the belly, I thought I was destined for a career in medicine, albeit not completely sure in what capacity. I took a job with a pharmaceutical company and became quickly jaded with their “sell more, people are sick” mentality.
Following my time with pharmaceuticals and a lengthy and varied career in the boating industry, some soul-searching led me back into healthcare and to ultimately discover naturopathic medicine.
After 4 years studying at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), I graduated with the honour of representing my class as valedictorian. I am licensed to work in Ontario and have a family practice in Waterdown. I have written a naturopathic textbook with 3 remarkable colleagues, and continue to work at CCNM as an instructor and teaching assistant.
I still find myself at a healthy weight living a healthy life with a loving family, and loving a career where I can combine my passions for helping others, educating them in health, and constantly being challenged by finding new ways to help you, naturally.

Justin Ashar (J. Ashar) is a Canadian-born record executive based in Houston, Texas. Although known for his music label, Pug Life Records®, he is a passionate calisthenics athlete with a firm belief in bodyweight resistance training. He started practicing yoga in 2014, and this fueled his desire to learn about fitness without the need of free weights or weight machines. Justin continues to push the boundaries of calisthenics and uses his platforms to show others that you can be physically fit by performing routine movements at home without the need of a gym membership or heavy equipment.
Simonster is a world leader in bodyweight training. Starting gymnastics at an early age, he became passionate about mastering control of the body and immersed himself in the world of bodyweight strength training. Expanding his skillset with training in martial arts, circus, and breakdance, his movements and teachings reflect a mixture of knowledge from each of these disciplines.
Attaining a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree alongside personal training qualifications furthered his understanding of the body from an academic side and accelerated his training methods and skill. Simonster strives to open the door to bodyweight training for beginners and maximize results for advanced athletes by creating effective and systematic training programs backed by scientific evidence and personal experience.
You can get fit and build muscle at any age! This is a fundamental belief of Laurence, who is a fitness YouTuber and personal trainer specializing in helping people lose weight and build muscle. Laurence didn't get started on his fitness journey until he was 45, now in his mid fifties and by his own admission is in the best shape of his life. Laurence was inspired by his 16-year-old son to start training. This was the beginning. It wasn’t long before the changes began, going from an overweight out of shape middle aged man, to one who started to see and believe in the positive changes living a fit lifestyle can bring. He uses his experience to encourage others to never feel like it is too late to get started on a fitter healthier way of life. A big believer in whole natural foods, along with progressive training techniques. Hi Friends! My name is Ellyn, I am a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and just recently completed my Master’s in Public Health. Movement and exercise have always been a part of my life from gymnastics when I was younger to currently being a fitness instructor at Life Time here in Des Moines, Iowa. Teaching group fitness classes is my absolute passion in life - it sets my soul on FIRE. I love encouraging my class members to challenge their own strength - both muscular and mental - beyond what they thought they were capable of.
I am also passionate about health education at the population level - helping the masses learn how to prevent disease from the start through daily movement, physical activity, and proper nutrition. To me, fitness isn’t about being inside the 4 walls of a gym. It’s about taking what you learn and applying it to your life outside the gym. Lateef Johnson is a Co-Founder and Director of Programming for FIT Austin (Fun Intelligent Training). He has been a fitness professional for over 20 years and holds Several Certifications and has a background in Martial Arts.
As an international fitness presenter and personal trainer, Lateef has worked with thousands of clients and other fitness professionals sharing his love of movement.
From bodyweight to loaded movement he looks to find the best tools to help get and keep people moving! Lateef is also dedicated to his own continuing education and keeping up to date with the ever-changing fitness and nutrition industry so that he can continue sharing that information with all of his FIT Austin clients.

My name is Amy Kopp. I'm a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor with CanFitPro & AFLCA. I run my own In-Home Personal Training business, AmyFit. I was a volunteer Aqua Fit and TRX instructor at the YMCA for 6 years. I also taught Kickboxing & Crosstraining for 5 years. I am a proud mother to two beautiful girls, 2 & 10 years old. I have a wonderful boyfriend who shares my passion for fitness and is also a Personal Trainer, DKFitness. After a lifetime of athletics (gymnastics, cheerleading, tennis, IM sports, etc), Jenny began her fitness career at Korea Tae Kwon Do Academy in 2008. As a participant in the Cardio Kickboxing program she was asked to train as an instructor. Upon completing her training under Master Garth Cooley, she began to teach classes there and soon was also hired at the Y. This led to her certification in Group Exercise through YUSA.
Over the next several years she expanded her classes to include Strength & Endurance, Cardio Fit, Boot Camp, Treadmill Training, and Stretch Class, to name just a few!
After lifeguarding for a couple of summers through the Y, she discovered aquatic fitness and obtained her Water Fitness certification in 2012. This led to teaching Deep Water, Shallow Water, Aqua Cardio, Aqua Boot Camp, and Aqua Kickboxing classes. She joined the Monon Community Center in 2014, increasing the number and type of water fitness classes she was teaching weekly.
Jenny also received her Certification for Personal Training through the American College of Sports Medicine in 2014. She is passionate about fitness and loves coaching clients through their fitness journeys!
Jenny found Lebert Fitness through an ACSM annual conference. The Equalizers were the perfect piece of equipment to add to her “gym” due to their versatility and easily-transported size. She frequently trains her clients at their homes or parks and there’s nothing better than a couple EQ’s to give her clients that full-body workout!
Jenny also has a BA in Psychology and an MS in Counseling, both of which help her connect to participants and motivate them to meet their goals.
Jenny is married with one daughter and two cats. When she’s not in a gym, she enjoys watching the Colts and traveling the world w/ her daughter.
Josef Serfaty, CFP-PTS, CFP-HWL, CCF-CMCP, is an In-Home Personal Fitness Coach, Mindset Coach and Motivational Speaker.
He is also a Lebert Fitness Instructor and Ambassador and a Senior Tactical Fitness Instructor. Josef worked under the mentorship of Marc Lebert early on in his fitness career as a LeBOOT and LeHIIT Instructor. His journey as a fitness professional started with a flame of inspiration to be the best version of himself after an eye-opening boot camp and lecture on resilience at a conference in 2013. He believes everyone deserves to experience that same empowering flame when seeking to live everyday with joy, curiosity, and passion.
I'm a mom of 3 small kiddos with a passion for everything fitness and nutrition. I've been a certified Personal Trainer/ Nutritionist for 13 yrs and I love every minute of it. Not only do I coach one on one but I love group fitness, my time teaching at Barry's Bootcamp and Cyclebar are some of my favorite times.
After overcoming a severe eating disorder in my late teens I turned to fitness and that grew into a passion. I love to teach and inspire and help others reach their full potential and achieve their goals and beyond. Allow me to tell you a little more about myself. My name is Neftali Vazquez. I am originally from Puerto Rico and moved to the US at the age of 11 (now 38). I now live in NYC. I am married and a father of two fitness warrior, my son Gabriel (10) and daughter Sienna (6). I work and hold the tile of Operations Director for the sales/marketing arm of a Mexican textile mill. I am fluent in Spanish which helps with social media. I am dedicated to my family, fitness and profession.
Over a year ago I decided to make a change of lifestyle. I wasn’t happy with the way I looked physically or where i was mentally, bad habits, not much drive, and blending into the crowds. I have to tell you that I am beyond happy with where I am today.
I set on a very hardcore training discipline and did a complete nutrition adjustment. The results have been amazing. Haven’t felt better in my life. I am stronger physically and mentally.
I have focused on a workout “Wherever, whenever, with whatever” Model. As fitness is nothing more than discipline and creativity merged together.
